Thanks Tom, I was heading that way - nice to have confirmation. Impressive application and documentation - in English too. If you feel that you would like help maybe in proofing I am happy to assist.

Hello,

Your command is:
ssh -L 10000:192.168.0.1:443 -p 22 ezavista@192.168.1.178

Your error is due to the fact that your ALCASAR tries to resolve the domain name "@192.168.0.1" instead of using the IP address.

The same as windows

ssh -L 10000:@192.168.0.1:443 -p 22 ezavista@192.168.1.178

192.168.0.1 is the inside NIC 192.168.1.178 outside NIC

in the browser https://127.0.0.1:10000/acc/

Not now in Windows, now that works I will research ssh tunneling on Linux, it does not seem to resolve or untrusted I would guess

Hi,
can't you access the web interface directly (without ssh tunnel) from LAN network ?

Hi

I hope you do not mind me posting in English - but I am having problems connecting the web interface on the inside NIC using an ssh tunnel. I can ssh the server on the outside no problem and the documentation has been excellent so far.

The error I get in the terminal is

"channel 3: open failed: connect failed: name or service not known"

Tried 3 browsers on 3 platforms and secure connection failed.

I have tried following the instructions to the letter, any pointers to where I have gone wrong would be greatly appreciated.
